Ten years ago, we got the last title in the Burnout series, Burnout Paradise. The title took the racing game into an open world setting, retaining the crashing and smashing mechanics that made previous entries so fun, but making it so that you could drive to events rather than selecting them from a menu. It was the last title in the Burnout series to date despite Burnout being about a billion times better than your Forzas and Gran Turismos and whathaveyou.

Now Burnout Paradise is back as EA has released a trailer for Burnout Paradise Remastered. The game returns with 4K visuals, all the DLC (Big Surf Island, Cops and Robbers, Legendary Cars, Burnout Bikes, Burnout Paradise Toys, Burnout Paradise Party, Burnout Paradise Boost, and Burnout Paradise Cagney), and it will be available for current-gen consoles. Part of me wants Remastered to be wildly successful so that EA will finally stop dragging their feet and get to making new Burnout games even though the original developers at Criterion have now moved on to other projects.

Check out the Burnout Paradise Remastered trailer below. The game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 16th. A PC version is also in development.

Here’s the official synopsis for Burnout Paradise Remastered:

Tear it up in the ultimate driving playground, from hectic downtown avenues to the wild mountain roads. Relive the high-octane stunts and wanton destruction of one of the greatest arcade-driving games ever! This remaster includes all DLC from the Year of Paradise, including the Big Surf Island update, meticulously recreated and ready to wreck in 4K on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
