‘Captain America: Civil War’: Zemo and Ant-Man Get More Exposure in International Promos

     April 20, 2016

There are quite a few folks to keep track of in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War. Most of them are familiar faces you’ve seen in numerous superhero films over the years, but some of them, like Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang a.k.a. Ant-Man, are relative newcomers, while others, like Daniel Brühl’s villainous Zemo, are making their first appearances. Thanks to two new international spots, we have new glimpses of both characters in action; I say “glimpses” because the audio is not for English speakers.

Also starring Chris EvansRobert Downey Jr., Anthony Mackie, Scarlett Johansson, Emily VanCamp, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War opens May 6th.

Take a look at the international spot that features Brühl’s Zemo (via CBR):

And here’s more of Rudd’s Scott Lang (a.k.a. Ant-Man) in another international promo:

Here’s the official synopsis for Captain America: Civil War:

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
