It's always fascinating to see how a massive scale production like Captain America: Civil War comes together, and the various incarnations it takes along the way. With Civil War now available on home video we've been treated to a number of behind-the-scenes looks at the production of Marvel's latest epic-scale superhero showcase. We learned that the theoretical "Captain America 3" would have featured a Madbomb finale if directors Joe and Anthony Russo weren't able to lock down Robert Downey Jr. for the Civil War arc. We learned that Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) would have been on Team Iron Man if Marvel couldn't lock down the Sony deal for Spider-Man (Tom Holland). And we've glimpsed a fair bit of deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes footage.
Today brings a handful of new concept art images, revealing a few alternate costume designs for Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) and some characteristically slick duds for Vision (Paul Bettany) including a pretty boss three-piece suit, as well as the artwork for some of the films key moments, including Cap and Black Panther's street-side showdown and HYDRA's Super-Mercenary stasis pods.
Check out all fifteen concept art images below. Captain America: Civil War is now available in all home formats, including Digital HD, Digital 3D, Disney Movies Anywhere, Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and On-Demand. If you're looking for even more behind-the-scenes glimpses the Blu-ray will feature more detailed and extended scenes, as well as a two-part making-of documentary on the film, a gag reel, and a Doctor Strange sneak peek.
