As you might have heard, last week brought our first solid look at what's going to go down in the third installment of the Captain America franchise, Captain America: Civil War, and the internet kinds flipped its shit, as is the fashion of our time. And to be honest, the emotional draw and dramatic pulp of the new story, which focuses on Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and our beloved Cap (Chris Evans) falling out over the fate of Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), the Winter Soldier who gave Cap so much hassle in the last film. The trailer climaxed with a pretty bad-ass fight scene between the three and if theres any chance that the Marvel peoples can help themselves from loading this movie with a metric tonnage of backstory and exposition, we might have a genuinely good movie going on here.

In anticipation of the film's release next Summer, and to follow-up the release of the trailer, Entertainment Weekly will be releasing their next issue with a cover story about the film, the cover of which you can see in full below. Not much about the cover story is known right now but EW has released a snippet of their talk with Evans, who focuses on the moral ambiguity that the newest film takes. Check out the quote from the EW story below:

“In most of the movies, there’s no question who we should be siding with...We all agree Nazis are bad, aliens from space are bad. But this movie’s the first time where you really have two points of view. It becomes a question of morality and I don’t think [Cap] has ever been so uncertain with what right and wrong is.”

The fight between Cap and Iron Man is the fight between Gods and great men, but its also  symbolic of a myriad of other conflicts, from the rich battling the relatively poor to warm nostalgia for mid-20th century America and the technological progress of the future. Here's hoping that they develop more of these ideas in the new film, which sees release on May 6th, but for now, just enjoy a good look at Iron Man, Cap, and Black Panther, who damn near stole the trailer with the brief glimpses we got of Chadwick Boseman's hero.
