If you think about it, we’ve seen relatively little of Captain America: Civil War, especially when compared to how Marvel dished out images and footage to promote their past films. The first trailer for Civil War and the subsequent Super Bowl TV spot are the only items with distinct shots, while the likes of Entertainment Weekly and Empire magazine have been trickling out photos. Ahead of the film’s May 6th release, Marvel is quenching our berserker thirst for new looks with a batch of pics.

Released via Marvel.com, these looks invite you to go behind the scenes of the impending face-off between Team Captain America and Team Iron Man. Towards the beginning of production with directors Joe and Anthony Russo, paparazzi pics leaked online revealing some scuffle with the new Avengers, including Black Widow and Scarlet Witch in civilian clothing, with Crossbones. Here, we get up close with Scarlett Johansson’s skilled heroine beating the crap out of an assailant dressed in Hydra black.

Elsewhere, the images feature Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan conversing with the Russos in a quinjet and a set that looks familiar from the trailer. The images culminate in an epic shot of Team Iron Man as seen lined up in the Super Bowl spot: Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Widow, War Machine (Don Cheadle), and Vision (Paul Bettany).

Captain America: Civil War is very much a product of what came before in The Avengers, The Winter Soldier, and Age of Ultron. In light of yet another international incident involving Earth’s mightiest heroes, the governments of the world pass the Sokovia Accords, a system of accountability for these superhumans who have essentially been running around unchecked by an authority. Team Iron Man is in support of these Accords, while Team Cap, led by our star-spangled Avenger with an uneasy relationship with government, is against them.

Who will win? Find out on May 6th.
