Moments before kickoff for the biggest television event of the year, Marvel and Disney have released a new look at the highly anticipated sequel Captain America: Civil War. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film picks up after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron and finds Chris Evans' Steve Rogers leading the new team of Avengers and dealing with governmental fallout from the collateral damage of their actions. Former Avengers leader Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) steps in to make his thoughts known, and lines are drawn as the Marvel superheroes find themselves divided.

It's a short spot, but it does a hell of a job setting up the life or death stakes of the big superhero battle. Bucky firing a bullet in Steve's face point blank is some hardcore stuff, only overshadowed by how damn wonderful that Iron Man glove is...not to mention those roster line-up shots at the end.   The film also stars

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
