Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Paul Greengrass' Captain Phillips.  The movie stars Tom Hanks as real life ship captain Richard Phillips who allowed himself to be taken hostage by Somali pirates in exchange for the safety of his crew.  Judging by the trailer, the adaptation keeps the crew on board, and sets the tone for an action-drama in the vein of Greengrass' previous film, Green ZoneGreen Zone was a bit of a disappointment, as we saw in Greengrass' Bloody Sunday and United 93, the director knows how to find powerful drama in true stories.
