Christopher Nolan's sci-fi film Interstellar has been busy over the last couple of months rounding up an incredible cast.  Matthew McConaughey is set to play the lead in "a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding."  Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Jessica Chastain, and Bill Irwin have all signed to join the picture, and today, we've learned that another tremendous addition has come on board.  Speaking to Elle Magazine (via Nolan Fans), Casey Affleck told the publication at a screening of his upcoming drama Ain't Them Bodies Saints, "I've got a movie coming out at Thanksgiving called 'Out Of The Furnace,' and I'm going to work on a Chris Nolan movie in the fall."

Affleck is a notable addition not only because he's incredibly talented, but also because he rarely does tent-pole pictures and the ones he has done are on the comedic side (Ocean's Trilogy, Tower Heist).  While it's possible he could be playing a comic-relief role, Nolan movies don't really have those.  We'll find out when Interstellar opens on November 7, 2014.
