After shattering recent ratings with the Donald Trump-hosted debacle, Saturday Night Live is closing out the year right with a couple of hunks and a little legacy. SNL draws 2015 to a close with three back-to-back episodes throughout December that will end on a high note with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey returning to Studio 8H for a final 2015 hurrah.

Ryan Gosling will kick off the final round of episodes on December 5th in anticipation of his new film The Big Short, which recently premiered at AFI Fest to critical acclaim and arrives in theaters nationwide on December 23rd. The Adam McKay passion project about the economic crisis also stars Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, and Steve Carrell. As we just reported, Gosling's next project is the lead in Ridley Scott's Blade Runner 2. Gosling makes his SNL debut alongside musical guest Leon Bridges, also making his first Saturday Night Live appearance in celebration of his hit debut album "Coming Home".

Next up is none other than The Mighty Thor, Chris Hemsworth, who will return for his second hosting gig on December 12th. Hemsworth's latest film, the Ron Howard-directed In the Heart of the Sea, which recounts the true story behind Moby Dick, arrives in theaters the day before Hemsworth takes the SNL stage, on December 11th. Chance the Rapper will appear alongside Hemsworth in his musical guest debut.

Finally, Saturday Night Live will wrap up the year with a double dose of awesome when Fey and Poehler return as co-hosts on December 19th. The dynamic duo co-stars in their latest comedy Sisters, which hits theaters on December 18th, the day before their return to SNL. Fey and Poehler will be accompanied by none other than Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band, marking Springsteen's third musical guest appearance. Springsteen's box set The Ties That Bind: The River Collection arrives on shelves December 4th.

Which of the final 2015 hosts are you most excited to see take the stage? Who was your favorite host of the year so far? Sound off in the comments.
