Writer-directors Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle) have managed to bring every major cast member back for the fourth entry in the American Pie franchise, American Reunion. The film is currently shooting, and actor Chris Klein recently spoke a bit about what to expect from the film and where his character Oz is now:

“[Oz] has moved to a beach house in Malibu. He's found his way to Hollywood, where he works as a sportscaster on an NFL show. And he has a young girlfriend, Mia, played by Katrina Bowden (30 Rock), who is really, really funny. He gets his invite to the reunion and decides to go with his girlfriend.”

Hit the jump to see what else he had to say about the sequel. In addition to Klein, the film reunites Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Tara Reid, Mena Suvari, Eugene Levy, Jennifer Coolidge and Shannon Elizabeth.

Speaking with THR, Klein talked about the amount of improv taking place on set, and how hard it is to keep a straight face:

"There's a bit of ad-libbing and riffing that goes on. We're all having a really good time…Watching an actor like Eugene Levy take everything Seann [William Scott] has, less than a foot from his face, while everyone else on set is literally biting their tongue…Yet all the while, he doesn't even break a sweat…and then they yell cut and we all come to pieces. It's like that, over and over for 12-14 hours a day… There's always hijinks when you get a bunch of people that like to do comedy together. We can't help ourselves. It's adult summer camp there. Twelve to 14 hours of laughter all the time.”

The actor also talked about what it’s like for the cast come back together after all this time:

"It's been so amazing to watch this cast mature over the last 10 years. There is a certain sense of pride I have for them all, like when I flip through the channels and see [How I Met Your Mother star] Alyson and I think, 'Oh man, she's doing fantastic.' I have felt that for all of them and still do. Even if we don't see each other for a couple of years, we could sit down and give each other a hug and catch right back up like we haven't missed a beat. It's pretty special."

In addition to the original cast, a few new faces will be popping up as well. Dania Ramirez and Chuck Hittinger are set to star, with Chad Ochocinco popping up for a hopefully fantastic cameo. American Reunion opens April 6th, 2012.
