Sony Pictures Animation has released five clips from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.  In the follow-up, Swallow Falls is under attack by mutant foods known as “foodimals”, so Flint (Bill Hader), Sam (Anna Faris), Brent (Andy Samberg), Manny (Benjamin Bratt), Earl (Terry Crews), and Steve (Neil Patrick Harris) must contain the creatures before they overrun the planet.  I'm going radio silent on the movie since I love the first one, and I like everything I've seen from the trailers, so I don't need more to sell me on this flick.  However, if you still need some convincing, these clips are for your viewing please.  Also, if you live in Atlanta, you still have a time to enter for a chance to win passes to an early screening.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 picks up where Sony Pictures Animation’s mouth-watering comedy left off. Inventor Flint Lockwood thought he saved the world when he destroyed his most infamous invention — a machine that turned water into food causing cheeseburger rain and spaghetti tornadoes. But Flint soon learns that his invention survived and is now creating food-animals – “foodimals!”  Flint and his friends embark on a dangerously delicious mission to battle hungry tacodiles, shrimpanzees, hippotatomuses, cheespiders and other foodimals to save the world – again!
