Warner Bros came out firing last night in a DCU extravaganza. Kevin Smith and comic book legend Geoff Johns discussed what to expect from the DC Universe. Although there were many things that caught fans attention, it seems the brand new Suicide Squad trailer was the talk of the night. In the trailer, set to the background of Queen’s "Bohemian Rhapsody" we get a better look at the tone, the team’s dynamic and a detailed look at the Joker in action! Kristian, what did you think of the new SUICIDE SQUAD TRAILER?

Also included in the DC special, the very first footage of the highly anticipated Wonder Woman standalone film. It was revealed that we will be getting an origin story for the iconic Amazon. Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine and releases in 2017. Schnepp, what did you think of the first look at Wonder Woman?

During the DC special fans got a look at even more characters that will be joining the Justice League. Aquaman, Cyborg, Flash were all profiled and it was also revealed that after much speculation, The Green Lantern will indeed be joining the party. Mark, what were your thoughts on the information we learned about these new heroes?

  1. It has been reported that filming for the third film in the xXx series, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage would begin filming soon. Well now it looks as if the film has found a potential villain. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that action icon Jet Li has been set to play a leader of a team that will compete against Vin Diesel’s. The Hateful Eight director revealed that he has had an idea about a 1930’s “Bonnie and Clyde” gangster style film which takes place in Australia.   1. Well it looks like the rumors of director Juan Antonio Bayona directing the Jurassic World sequel are heating up again. Bayona who is most known for directing The Orphanage and The Impossible had been considered once before but did not get the job. Now Variety is reporting that Bayona is being considered once more after his recent departure from The World War Z sequel due to scheduling conflicts.
