THE COLLISION: Episode 61 – GRAVITY and Sci-Fi Expectations

     October 6, 2013

This week on The Collision, we talk about Alfonso Cuaron‘s incredible new movie, Gravity.  In addition to gushing over the movie, we also address some of the criticisms, if the film qualifies as “science fiction”, the necessity of complex themes, 3D, the film’s longevity, Oscar chances, and much more.  As always, we finish up with our recommendations [Note: we’re trying out some new recording software, and there were some technical difficulties.  There’s buzzing in the background at the beginning, and then my audio track gets very quiet.  I’m aware of the problem, and will make the necessary fixes for the next episode.  Thank you for your patience.]
