Community is officially alive and kicking, and we’ve got the photographic evidence to prove it.  The seemingly immortal sitcom was canceled by NBC earlier this year, only to receive a last-minute reprieve from the folks at Yahoo! Screen.  The digital streaming service will air the upcoming sixth season of the show, bringing the series’ self-proclaimed prophecy of “Six Seasons and a Movie” that much closer to fruition.  These debut Community Season 6 images are largely business as usual despite the drastic change of telecasting venue, and they also give us a first look at new cast member Keith David, who’s filling the study group void left first by Chevy Chase and then Jonathan Banks, who was a regular in the fifth season but was unavailable to return due to his Better Call Saul duties.  David plays a retired scientist while the other new regular, Criminal Minds alum Paget Brewster, plays a consultant brought in to help shape up Greendale.

Check out the first Community Season 6 images after the jump.  Production on the 13-episode new season is underway for a debut on Yahoo! Screen in early 2015.
