A little over a week ago, I got to visit the set of one of the best shows on television: NBC's Community.  Created by Dan Harmon, Community stars Donald Glover (Troy), Danny Pudi (Abed), Chevy Chase (Pierce). Alison Brie (Annie), Gillian Jacobs (Britta), Yvette Nicole Brown (Shirley), Joel McHale (Jeff), Ken Jeong (Chang) and Jim Rash (Dean Pelton).  For the upcoming third season (starting September 22^nd at 8/7c), they've cast Michael K. Williams (Omar from The Wire) as Greendale’s new biology teacher and John Goodman as the Vice Dean of Greendale Community College’s School of Air Conditioning Repair.  While I learned a lot about what both of the new cast members will bring to the show, I won't spoil anything here, as I have too much respect for the show and the fans.  However, I will say that the third season looks fantastic, and I think everyone is going to love what's coming up.

In between participating in group interviews and watching the fourth episode of the upcoming season get filmed, I was able to take a number of photos of the various sets and hallways.  If you've ever wondered about the posters on the walls, or what the set looks like when they're not filming, you should hit the jump.  Look for the first of my on set interviews tomorrow, and to all of you not yet watching, do yourself a favor and tune in.  The second season hits DVD this week.
