When TBS’ Conan comes to Comic-Con, it comes in style. This year was no exception as Conan O’Brien and Andy Richter eschewed a quick train ride from Los Angeles to San Diego in favor of taking the Fury Road. Their Mad Max-inspired road trip saw Richter channeling Immortan Joe as a coffee-swilling, spray paint-huffing driver, with Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band supplying the tunes from the rear of a tricked out deuce and a half. Conan, meanwhile, took to the open air on the open road as the Doof Warrior, furiously shredding through screeching guitar licks as flames spew out of the end of his instrument, occasionally roasting some road (hot) dogs along the way. Classic Conan.

CONAN Highlight: Conan and Andy are driving to San Diego for a week of shows, and they’re taking the Fury Road.
And as a bonus, we’ve also provided you with the “Wolverine Auditions” skit from the Wednesday night show:
You can expect more hijinks from Conan and crew all week since they’re set up in San Diego’s Spreckles Theater and will be entertaining sold-out crowds throughout the duration of Comic-Con. Upcoming guests include Jennifer Lawrence and the cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 on Thursday, July 9th; the casts of AMC’s The Walking Dead and HBO’s Game of Thrones on Friday, July 10th; and a “Mystery Cast Show” for Saturday, July 11th. My money is on an assembled Justice League since the Warner Bros. panel will have already occurred earlier in the day, hopefully revealing the cast to thunderous applause. Until then, I leave you with more Conan O’Brien: Doof Warrior.
