The long-awaited 4-way CW crossover event is nigh! The week after Thanksgiving, Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow will be teaming up to face the Dominators (more about their comic book history here). Most of the episodes share the same title -- "Invasion!" -- aside from Supergirl, whose episode is titled "Medusa." Supergirl, as you may recall, exists in an alternate universe from the rest of the Arrowverse, so it will be interested to see her teaming up with the group and how the mechanics of that will work.

In the episode synopses that were recently released, it looks like we'll be getting a vision of Arrow through the lens of Flashpoint which will be really interesting. And, while the Legends are getting invited to the party (after feeling very removed from the rest of the action in Star and Central cities recently), they will still be time traveling as part of their inclusion in the crossover, which makes sense. The four-night event seems like it's going to be a lot of fun, but it's increasingly difficult to see how these shows can stay connected enough with their stories to create crossovers while not alienating fans who only keep up with one or two of them.
