Charlie Cox, aka Matt Murdock, spent most of Daredevil's first season running around in a black bandana and tactical wear by night, and a rumpled suit by day. It wasn't until the end of the season that we saw Daredevil don his more recognizable red suit. Season two promises to pick up where we left off if this new look at the suit is any indication.

Filming on season two began last month in anticipation for an April 2016 release on Netflix. Cox returns in the title role, along with Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Franklin "Foggy" Nelson, and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple. Newcomers to season two include Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher and Elodie Yung as Elektra Natchios. You should also expect to see more villainy from Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, though it will likely be more behind-the-scenes puppet-mastery than spotlights and street fights this time around. And even though Jason Statham won't be playing Bullseye in season two, there's a good chance someone will be. Oh, and lest we forget the order of mystical ninjas known as The Hand! Daredevil is going to have his hands full in season two, so let's hope his costume is in fighting shape!

While it's a bit hard to tell if this costume is identical to the one from the first season, one thing is apparent: still no "DD" logo on the chest. I guess Daredevil isn't into branding yet, even if his super suit is a bit more flamboyant than his Dread Pirate Roberts getup. Regardless, Netflix's Daredevil remains one of my favorite television-viewing experiences from this year, so I'll take anything I can get between now and next April.
