Yesterday we got a first peek at the UK box art for The Dark Knight Trilogy box set, but today we’ve got an official first look at the collectible packaging for The Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray/DVD combo pack.  Obviously the film will be available in a regular Blu-ray/DVD case when it hits stores, but Warner Bros. is also packaging the film with a limited edition broken Bat Cowl, reminiscent of the one Bane drops after first beating the crap out of Batman in The Dark Knight Rises.Hit the jump to take a look at the packaging and to learn what special features will be included on the Blu-ray combo pack.  The Dark Knight Rises will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital download on December 4th.The unveiling of the home video release comes courtesy of EW, who adds that the Blu-ray combo pack of The Dark Knight Rises will come with plenty of extras.  The special features include a documentary about the history of the batmobile, a featurette called The Journey of Bruce Wayne, trailers, and art gallerys.  The main event, though, is a 17-featurette in-depth look at the making of The Dark Knight Rises called Ending the Knight that documents how Christopher Nolan brought the film to fruition. As expected, that rumored director's cut is nowhere to be found nor are any deleted scenes.  Ending the Knight looks like it will only be available on the Blu-ray combo pack, but both the Blu-ray and DVD will include the Journey of Bruce Wayne featurette (of which no details are given).  We’ll likely get a more detailed rundown of the special features included on the Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray soon, but for now take a look at the limited edition packaging below.the-dark-knight-rises-blu-raythe-dark-knight-rises-collectible-blu-ray
