When a highly-anticipated project like The Dark Knight Rises is treated with greater secrecy than the nuclear launch codes, then every minor hint of a story somehow becomes newsworthy.  Rather than barrage you with every tiny TDKR story, we've rounded them up on this slow news day.  Hit the jump to check out Bruce Wayne's sweet new ride, rumors of a new Bat-vehicle, filming news from Pittsburgh and Scotland, what you can possibly expect from Catwoman's costume, what Tom Hardy has to say about the incessant rumors, and video from the set of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle holding hands (awwww).

Hit the jump for the round-up.  The film stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Joseph-Gordon Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine.  The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20, 2012.

As we learned in The Dark Knight, Bruce Wayne doesn't care if his car is subtle.  But since he wrecked his sweet ride in the last film, he's gonna need a new mode of non-Bat-vehicle transportation.  Enter the the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 [via Autoblog] (plus a photo of what is probably Wayne Manor):

But if you're interested in more Bat-oriented transportation, then check out this tweet [via Moviehole] from Location Sound Recordist and Boom Operator Freddie Z Roche:

The Dark Knight Rises': Inside Info, they are Building 2 Attack Helicopters in the same design as the Bat Mobile from The Dark Knight! BOOM

Filming on TDKR is taking place on multiple continents.  Here's what's going down in Pittsburgh [via On Location Vacations]:

Come spend the day at a football game set within "Gotham City".

The scene we're in will be a football game, but not just any football game. We'll be cheering on the Gotham Rogues as they take on their rival team the Rapid City Monuments.

There will be free food and parking plus a raffle for prizes.  Shooting will be on August 6th from 7am to 7pm.  I imagine that obnoxious Steelers fans will be welcome (go Falcons!).

And here's what's shaking in Scotland [via BBC]:

Stuntmen and a film crew have been making parachute jumps at a Highlands airstrip as part of the production of the latest Batman film.

Parachutists dressed in black and using a private jet painted black have been in action at Cairngorm Gliding Club's site at Feshie Bridge...

It was not known if this week's activity at the gliding club was for scenes in the film, or preparation work ahead of proper filming.

A chartered helicopter was also at the club's airstrip along with the black jet.

Nolan has modified and twisted the costumes for his Batman villains in the past, but he may be going with something more faithful to the comics when it comes to Catwoman (Anne Hathaway).  HollywoodLife reports:

“Anne’s outfit is more tactical, like the comic book, than the previous Batman movies,” a source very close to the costume design tells us exclusively. “She will definitely be wearing the goggles and it’s going to be less sexy than Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman costumes. She’s going to look more like a robber.”

Adds the insider, “But fan boys shouldn’t be worried. This costume is going to be form-fitting enough to make Anne look smoking hot.”

This sounds like it's in line with Ed Brubaker's 2001 revamp of the character, which looks like this:

As you can tell by now, much of this is rumor and speculation and Tom Hardy (who plays Bane) gave Allocine [via CBM] his two cents on the matter:

"I'm a bit naughty, actually. I like to look at everything! Even though people say not read everything, I like to read everything, so I'm aware of what's going on."

"I know less about the project while filming with that man because Chris Nolan doesn't tell you anything, so I don't know who I'm playing, what I'm doing, until the morning that I'm working!"

"Everything is subject to change with Chris Nolan, but on the whole, I know which information is true and false."

Finally, someone very far away took some set video of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle holding hands in front of what could be the rebuilt Wayne Manor.  Fellas, if you want to win a lady's heart, invite her to see your giant underground cave filled with expensive gadgets and flying rodents.
