It’s no secret that Warner Bros. is in the midst of building its own DC Comics Movies slate, crafting its answer to the highly successful Marvel Cinematic Universe.  They’ve already staked out release dates for nine upcoming DC Comics movies, and the in-production Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is looking like one massive Justice League prequel with appearances scheduled for Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and more.  The question on everyone’s minds, though, is in what order will Warner Bros. be introducing more standalone DC comics movies?  Well an answer may have surfaced by way of four URLs that Warner Bros. just registered, which just so happen to match up to four very specific DC comics properties.  More after the jump.

The folks over at Tech Times (via Comic Book Resources) have discovered that WB has registered the following URLs:

  • JusticeLeagueFilm.com
  • ShazamMovie.com
  • WonderWomanTheMovie.com
  • AquamanMovie.com

If you visit each individual URL, you are directed to the Warner Bros. homepage, confirming that this is indeed legitamite.  And this lineup make sense.  Zack Snyder is attached to move straight into directing Justice League after he finishes Batman v Superman, and Gal Gadot is already set to be introduced as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman, making Wonder Woman poised to fill the massive void of female-led superhero movies.

We also have Jason Momoa on tap to be introduced as Aquaman in Batman v Superman, and it was recently reported that Warner Bros. had commissioned two separate Aquaman scripts in an effort to put together the best possible version of the movie in a short amount of time.  And then Dwayne Johnson has been pulling a Vin Diesel with regards to the Shazam movie for some time now.  Last we heard on that front, Johnson was mulling over whether to play the titular hero or the villains Black Adam in Shazam, but make no mistake: it’s coming.

It’s tough to suss out which films will fill which untitled release dates since we know so little about their development.  Directors haven’t been announced for anything past Justice League, and we don’t know if there are existing scripts for any of these pictures yet.  But with Warner Bros. registering these URLs, I imagine we’re very close to a big DC announcement from the studio any day now.

What do you think, readers?  Which release dates do you think Justice League, Shazam, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman will fill?  Sound off in the comments below.
