Currently sitting at the #1 box office spot for X-Men films, R-rated comic book adaptations, and R-rated opening weekends, Tim Miller's Deadpool is a wonderful surprise that no one saw coming. But Fox isn't resting on their laurels after dominating the theatrical box office for the better part of 2016. With the Blu-ray release date for Deadpool coming up on May 10th, they're making a marketing push to ensure that the Ryan Reynolds-fronted film gets as big a play as possible in the home video market.

Whatever you think of the film, it's pretty obvious that the team's marketing campaign has been one of the funniest, most original, and most effective in recent memory. That trend continues as Deadpool takes to social media to once again show off its irreverent take on the state of superhero movies. This latest salvo takes a shot at those awful pharmaceutical ads that plague TV viewing; sure it's low-hanging fruit but that's how Deadpool likes it.

If you missed it in theaters, don't worry; you'll have your chance to bring Deadpool home with you before long. Check out the ad for Deadpool on Blu-ray below:

Hold onto your chimichangas, folks. From the studio that brought you all 3 Taken films comes DEADPOOL, the block-busting, fourth-wall-breaking masterpiece about Marvel Comics’ sexiest anti-hero: me! Go deep inside (I love that) my origin story…typical stuff…rogue experiment, accelerated healing powers, horrible disfigurement, red spandex, imminent revenge. Directed by overpaid tool Tim Miller, and starring God’s perfect idiot Ryan Reynolds, Ed Skrein, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller and Gina Carano, DEADPOOL is a giddy slice of awesomeness packed with more twists than my enemies’ intestines and more action than prom night. Amazeballs!
