Superhero movies, and really all movies, should not be guarded like state secrets. Fans want to connect with the property they love, and the notion that they’ll stop caring before the film comes out is absurd. It’s good to keep some things under wraps, but a dialogue with fans is important, and Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds is being gracious with his Twitter followers by sharing a steady stream of images and information.

This weekend, Reynolds tweeted out the first image of Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, who is a telepath with precognitive abilities the comics. We don’t know how she’ll factor into this movie, but she looks like she’s a lot of fun at parties:

Reynolds also shared a Deadpool poster done by a fan, and it looks great. Rather than letting everyone get duped, Reynolds pointed out that it wasn’t real, and then celebrated the design. Everybody wins:

Directed by Tim Miller, Deadpool opens February 12, 2016 and also stars Ed Skrein as Ajax, Morena Baccarin as Copycat, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, and T.J Miller as Weasel.

Here’s the official synopsis for Deadpool:

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
