The character of Alpha 5 has always had an unusual design that seemed to work inside the universe created in the original Power Rangers tv series. And now, it looks as though Lionsgate is going for something a little different for their upcoming movie adaptation. Yesterday saw the release of some concept art of Alpha 5’s new redesign courtesy of IGN. We’ll see the new look in action when Power Rangers hits theatres in March 24, 2017.

In honor of Ridley Scott’s 79th birthday yesterday, 20th Century Fox released a behind the scenes image from the set of Alien: Covenant of what appears to be the original Space Jockey from the first movie Alien. This also seems to tease a direct connection between Alien and its second prequel Covenant. The movie is scheduled to hit theatres on May 19th, 2016.
