The Deus Ex movie, adapted from the video game franchise of the same name, now has a new screenwriter.  Heat Vision reports that CBS Films and producers Roy Lee and Adrian Askarieh have enlisted Predators screenwriter Michael Finch to work on the screenplay for the pic, which draws mainly from the Deus Ex: Human Revolution game and revolves around an ex-SWAT security specialist who unravels a global conspiracy after undergoing mechanical augmentation.  Sinister scribes Scott Derrickson and Robert Cargil wrote the previous draft of the Deus Ex script when Derrickson was attached to direct, but he's a little busy at the moment as he's gearing up to helm Marvel's Doctor Strange.  It's unknown if he'll still be involved in the development of Deus Ex, but clearly CBS Films wants another pass on the script.

In addition to Predators, Finch also penned the script for the upcoming video game adaptation Hitman: Agent 47 and the impending thriller The November Man, and also worked on CBS Films’ adaptation of American Assassin.  Watch a trailer for the Deus Ex game after the jump.
