While most of the cast and behind-the-scenes talent has been revealed for Doctor Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme has a few more tricks up his sleeve. Though Jon Spaihts of Prometheus is credited on the film’s screenplay, another name has been added to the writing talent working out the kinks in the story — C. Robert Cargill.

Derrickson wrote the story for his horror film Sinister with Cargill, and the two are now reunited on Doctor Strange. The writer revealed the news on Twitter, writing, “It’s finally out in the wild. I’ve been working on this for the better part of the last year.” In a tweet prior to this, he said, “this is the moment a number of people are discovering that the last year of my Twitter feed was really just one long subtweet.”

Thomas Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer worked on an earlier draft of the Doctor Strange script before Spaihts, and Cargill has a solid working relationship with Derrickson — in addition to Sinister, the two collaborated on a film adaptation of the popular video game Deus Ex and Outer Limits.

Benedict Cumberbatch is currently filming the work alongside already announced cast members Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen, Michael Stuhlbarg, Scott Adkins, and Amy Landecker (Transparent). The film tells the origins of Stephen Strange, neurosurgeon-turned-superhero-sorcerer. After losing the use of his hands in a car accident, he travels to Tibet, where he encounters The Ancient One, who teaches him the ways of the mystic arts. Strange marks the first film in the MCU after Captain America: Civil War, which producers teased will break the current Avengers line-up and prompt new heroes to fill the ranks. So it’s important to get this story right.

Doctor Strange, which hits theaters on November 4, 2016, will be followed by solo films for Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel, in addition to another Ant-Man adventure.
