The horror-centric Collider Nightmares show is still a fairly new addition to the Collider Video roster, but today we have a special treat for fans as the Nightmares crew has put together a new video review. The subject? Evil Dead director Fede Alvarez’s new home invasion thriller Don’t Breathe. This spoilers review delves deep into every facet of the film, so if you haven’t seen it just yet and are wary of spoilers, one suggests you come back and watch once you’ve experienced it yourself.
Alvarez co-wrote the film with his Evil Dead co-writer Rodo Sayagues, and it stars Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette, and Daniel Zovatto as a trio who opt to break into the home of a blind man (Stephen Lang) who supposedly has a safe in his basement. The score is all in service of Levy’s character running away from home with her younger sister so they can start a new life, but as they enter the blind man’s home, they soon realize they’re in way over their heads. Horror, as one expects, ensues.
