For a few months now, we've been running trailers and posters for the Italian release of the English-language film Dylan Dog: Dead of Night.  Now that the movie finally has a U.S. distributor, it's received a trailer that I can actually understand and a poster that is all kinds of generic.  I like the premise of the movie: a human detective (played by Brandon Routh) is appointed by supernatural creatures to impartially investigate crimes which happen in their underworld.  Unfortunately, that premise is undermined by the heavy reliance on Sam Huntington's comic relief character and some truly awful special effects make-up.  Watching this trailer, I couldn't help but wonder how this movie isn't going straight to DVD.Hit the jump to check out the trailer and poster.  Dylan Dog: Dead of Night opens April 29th.Click over to Apple to see the trailer in HD.
