Eddie Marsan and Martin Compston Exclusive Video Interview THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED

     October 4, 2009

A movie I really enjoyed at this year’s Toronto Film Festival was “The Disappearance of Alice Creed”. The film was written and directed by J Blakeson and it’s his first time behind the camera. Since a lot of this film rides on you not knowing too much about it, all I’m going to tell you is…it’s about two people kidnapping a third person and what happens before, during, and after the event. The movie stars Martin Compston and Eddie Marsan as the kidnapers and Gemma Arterton plays the victim.

Anyway, while at this year’s Festival, I was able to interview the two stars – Martin Compston and Eddie Marsan. So after the jump you can see them talk about making the movie, explain how difficult it is to talk about the film without giving things away, they both talk about what they have coming up, and a lot more. It’s a great interview so take a look:

Finally, here’s a link to some movie clips and more info on the movie.

  • When they were reading the script, did they immediately want to get involved
