Eddie the Eagle is one of the most charming films of the year, and today we’re pleased to debut an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip from the upcoming Blu-ray’s special features. For those who are unfamiliar with the film, it follows Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards (Taron Egerton) and his quest to be an Olympic ski jumper. He gets some help on his quest from his surly trainer Bronson Peary (Hugh Jackman).

In this clip, we see how the film recreated the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics through a mix of practical sets and CGI. The clip also treats us to a conversation with the real Eddie Edwards, who explains that he was unaware that he had become such a spectacle and just assumed that everyone got a press conference. It’s a charming bit of extra material, and quite fitting with the film it compliments.

Check out the clip below. Eddie the Eagle is available now on Digital HD, and will be on Blu-ray and DVD June 14th.
