Before principal photography commenced on “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World”, Edgar Wright treated the citizens of Toronto to his patented “Wright Stuff” film festival with glorious movies and Q&As designed to make the rest of us question are patriotism and defect to Canada. If you lived in Toronto and for whatever reason never made one of these screenings, fear not. You have one more chance and you best not fuck it up. Hit the jump to find out how to atone for your sin.
For one night only, Edgar Wright will return to the Bloor with legendary cinematographer Bill Pope to screen two of Pope’s most popular films, “Army of Darkness” and “Team America: World Police”. The evening will also include an in-depth discussion with the cinematographer himself. The two are currently collaborating on “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” in an attempt to rock our motherfucking socks off.
The event is Sunday, July 26th (so if you’re at Comic-Con, catch an early flight or something). Tickets for the double bill are $18 and will be available online and at the Bloor box office starting July 17th. Single movie tickets are $10 and will only be available 30 minutes before each screening. No Bloor Cinema membership is required. For further information, click here.
