Edge of Tomorrow is one of my favorite films of the year. By some miracle considering the hectic production, director Doug Liman and stars Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt assembled a smart, funny, and thrilling sci-fi time travel film that, above all, feels fresh. We’re inundated with same-feeling movies week after week, but Edge of Tomorrow was a wonderfully unique and fun adventure that felt like a breath of fresh air. In anticipation of the film’s Blu-ray and DVD release tomorrow, October 7th, we’re happy to debut a new deleted scene that can be found on the home video release and to also share a pretty funny mashup of some of the humorous bits from the film. It's a nice reminder of just how funny this sci-fi actioner is, and the deleted scene is from the final act of the film and involves Cruise finding himself an appropriate weapon.
