In the last few days the future of "Battlestar Galactica" has been in question. Robert at IESB landed a scoop when Edward James Olmos told him on the red carpet that "Battlestar" was going to be ending after this upcoming season.

The news spread fast, so fast that Producer David Eick made a statement saying "For those of you who have been paying attention over the years, this is not the first time Eddie has made an announcement about the possibility of the show's end. I promise you that when Ron Moore and I make a decision about Galactica's future, we'll let you know."

While David Eick is denying the end, if you watch the footage I shot backstage with both Edward James Olmos and Katee Sackhoff they both seemed to think it was over. And the way they spoke it wasn’t a maybe.

As I said when the story first broke, I was a huge supported of "Battlestar" and think it was a great show. But this last season showed a tremendous degradation of quality and only the very beginning and end had the magic that made the first seasons. While Sci-Fi or the producers might want it to go on, I’m all in favor of one huge season where they go out with a bang.

But that’s just me.

If you watch the interview below you’ll hear them talk about winning a Saturn Award, next season being the last, Katee talks "Bionic Woman", and a great moment is at the end when Katee says she’ll only remake old shows and she says the next show she’ll do is the "A-Team" and she’s going to play Face!
