The very first footage from Sony's Spider-Man: Homecoming was unveiled to the lucky fans in attendance at Marvel's Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con this year and now, according to ComicBook.com, the first full length trailer will be shown in theaters on Friday, December 16 attached to Disney's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Sony did not respond to a request for comment by the outlet so this should be classified as a rumor for the time being.

Bad news for Stargate fans! A few years ago when Roland Emmerich and producer Dean Devlin announced their plans to make Independence Day 2, the duo also revealed that they were working on a Stargate reboot. As recently as this summer, Devlin revealed that in order to enact a plan that would include a new trilogy, they were going to be starting over with a reboot of the first movie. But now that plan appears to be dead in the water. Speaking with Empire, Devlin said everything with the project has fallen apart.

Chan Harris writes:

You guys are always awesome and I thank you for entertaining this question.  You guys reported that Daniel Craig is still in the running to reprise the role of 007, if he wants it.  Personally, I'd prefer if he went out on a better note than Spectre.  You guys also mentioned some hopeful successors like Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, and Benedict Cumberbatch.  If Daniel Craig comes back for one more martini, who amongst the "hopefuls" do you think would make the best Bond villain?
