Writer Tim Daniel and artist Mehdi Cheggour's action/horror comic series Enormous is being developed into a TV "event series" (which probably means a miniseries, which could mean limited series, or possibly just a regular ol' series). According to Deadline, Fox 21 Television Studios, New Regency Television, and Prime Universe Films are working together on the project. Andrew Poltkin and Adrian Askarieh will serve as executive producers, but the next step for the potential series will be finding a showrunner.

Enormous began as a one-off graphic novella in 2012, which was the basis for a live-action web film (which you can watch here) from Machinima. That short film was written by Trollhunter's Andre Ovredal and directed by Ben David Grabinski, with Askarieh was the producer, who is clearly still invested in bringing the material to an even wider audience.

Here's a synopsis from Enormous's website. It returned as an ongoing series in June of 2014:

Enormous tells the full tale of the aftermath of a vast ecological cataclysm which spawns colossal beasts unlike anything ever witnessed. Humankind stares down imminent extinction and the only law is to hunt or be hunted. It’s survival of the biggest as the earth-shaking sci-fi action adventure continues.

As the last vestige of humankind spirals towards annihilation, Ellen Grace leads the only remaining North American Search & Recovery Team through the deadly giant monster infested streets of Phoenix. However, she soon encounters another predator far more dangerous than the other-worldly creatures stalking the desolate city: her fellow humans.
