I love cool screen printed posters and over the last few years we’ve been blessed with tons of great ones from lots of different artists and companies. And now, thanks to Matt Ferguson and Grey Matter Art, under license from StudioCanal, we’re about to get another one and it’s for John Carpenter’s awesome 80's action film, Escape from New York.

As you can see below, Ferguson has created two 24" x 36" versions of the poster. The regular one is an edition of 250 and costs $50, and the variant, limited to 125, costs $60 and is glow in the dark. As someone that owns a number of GID posters, I’m looking forward to hanging one of these on my wall. Trust me, there is nothing like walking by glow-in-the-dark posters at night and seeing them come to life.

If you’re interested in getting one of these limited posters, they’re going to go on sale on greymatterart.com at 1:00 PM (est) on Wednesday, August 3rd. In addition, a limited edition pin designed by Matt Ferguson will be inserted into randomly selected orders.
