As most of you already know, opening on February 6th, 2009 is director Henry Selick’s (“The Nightmare Before Christmas”) next movie “Coraline”. For those that don’t know, “Coraline” is based on the bestselling book by Neil Gaiman and it’s about a girl that walks through a secret door in her home and discovers an alternate version of her life. On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life – only much better. But when the new world turns dangerous, and her counterfeit parents try to keep her forever, Coraline must find a way to get home and save her real family.

Trust me, it’s a very cool story and it’s a movie you should really be looking forward to.

Anyhow, a few weeks ago I posted an exclusive video interview with director Henry Selick. The interview was done at a special event in

Beverly Hills where Focus Features showed a bunch of local journalists some early footage from the movie and then let us talk with the people who made it. While I already posted the Henry Selick interview and wrote about the footage, I haven’t posted the interview I did with Scott Tom (lead character fabricator) and Travis Knight (lead animator), as well as another video I shot at the event. The “other” footage was the displays they had in the lobby.

So here’s the poster, followed by the two other videos. If you’re looking forward to “Coraline”, watch the videos. Finally, below the two videos are links to previous articles on Collider about “Coraline”. And one last thing…Focus just launched the Coraline website so you might want to check that out!
