Walt Disney has released a new extended Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) featurette for Alice in Wonderland.  While the movie is about Alice and her adventures, based on all the trailers and commercials featuring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, I think most people think the film is all about his character.  If he ends up being just a supporting player, moviegoers might be pretty angry....unless the film is awesome.

In a little over a week is the big Los Angeles press junket for Alice, so you can expect mini reviews to hit Twitter and Facebook after the junket screening.  While you wait for that...hit the jump to watch the new featurette.

Also, on February 19, MySpace will be hosting an event with Tim Burton and he'll be showing a sneak peek at new footage.  Look out for that.
