The remake of "Heavy Metal" could be anywhere in pre-production.  Is it still gathering directors for segments?  Is it trying to find metal artists?  Will each segment have its own screenwriter?  So a poster at this point is highly unlikely.  It's even more unlikely when a poster for the film lands online and has a web address belonging to a squatter* instead of a studio.

But it's still a cool looking poster and you can check it out after the jump.  And when "Heavy Metal" does begin its marketing campaign, they should know that there's now a bar to be cleared because the studio doesn't want people saying, "The fake one looked better".

*As it refers to the Internet, a squatter is someone who buys up web domains other people might want and then sells them to that party at an inflated price.
