Amongst the plethora of Marvel footage, trailers, and news at San Diego Comic-Con 2016, there was also a pretty great new trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the J.K. Rowling-penned spin-off of the Harry Potter universe. Directed by David Yates, the man behind all the Harry Potter films post-Prisoner of Azkaban, the best of the lot, Fantastic Beasts focuses on the myriad flying, crawling, and slithering creatures that live in the magical world where Mr. Potter's wars were waged, as well as Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), a gifted magizoologist on the hunt for a few animals.

The new trailer gave us some fleeting looks at these creatures, such as a flying Thunderbird and Gnarlak, the clever goblin voiced by (and seemingly modeled after) Ron Perlman. Now, we have full images that give us a good look at both those beings, as well as an Occamy, a Demiguise, and a house elf that is not Dobbie. You can check out the images, which also include some random stills from the movie's many settings, right below to prepare for the impending release of Fantastic Beasts on November 18th.

Here's the official synopsis for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them:

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is an all-new adventure returning us to the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling. Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne stars in the central role of wizarding world magizoologist Newt Scamander, under the direction of David Yates, who helmed the last four “Harry Potter” blockbusters. The film opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
