It appears we might be seeing shades of Dwayne Johnson’s former stage persona when Fast & Furious 8 hits theaters next year. The production team behind FF8 have been giving fans continuous access to set with a series of official set videos, with Johnson supplementing his own behind-the-scenes looks on his Instagram. It’s all been in good fun, a nice way to tease fans well before the first trailer arrives—that is, until now.

Johnson posted a video to his Instagram earlier today in full Hobbs costume (and The Rock mode) on a prison set, in which he seems to be semi-in character as Hobbs, going on a lively and decidedly NSFW rant against Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto and his “family.” It’s funny and, at the same time, incredibly frightening, and one can only imagine what Dom does to put Hobbs in jail during the course of Fast & Furious 8.

Additionally, on a much lighter note, Diesel and the film’s director F. Gary Gray shared a new behind-the-scenes video that marks the halfway point of production, as the duo reveal that principal photography is now 50% complete. Check out both videos below. The film also stars Charlize Theron, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges,Dwayne Johnson, Scott Eastwood, and Nathalie Emmanuel. Fast and Furious 8opens in theaters everywhere on April 14, 2017.
