The final trailer for “Star Trek” has just been released on the internet thanks toApple.

All I can say is…wow.

If you were one of those people that didn’t think J.J. Abrams could do it, I think you’ll be silenced after watching this. The only negative thing I can say is…a big moment in the movie is shown in this trailer and it’s one I wish they had saved for the theater.

Saying that, I understand why Paramount did it.

About 90% of the people watching this will be seeing “Star Trek” footage for the first time. This trailer will make them really interested in the movie and they won’t know the trailer included a big spoiler. And they probably won’t care. I think the trailer is so good they just added at least 50 million dollars to their final box office tally.

And one last thing before watching. Listen to the music by Michael Giacchino. It’s so good I would buy the soundtrack tonight if I could. But if you need a Michael Giacchino fix asap after listening….he did the soundtrack to both “Speed Racer” and “Ratatouille”, and he does “Lost” every week.

Watch this trailer and I dare you to tell me you’re not looking forward to “Star Trek”. Here's the link for HD.

Finally, I just posted a story on “Star Trek’s” running time. It’s going tobe 2 hours and6 minutes!
