Oh, hell yeah! Look, I've been in on Furious 7 from the get-go. I love the franchise and I love the director; plus it stars Vin DieselDwanye Johnson and Jason Statham. That's almost too much bald-headed glory for one film. It's one of my most anticipated films of the year, and boy does this trailer deliver. We get our first look at Kurt Russell's character and we learn a little more of Statham's baddie, Deckard Shaw, who (as we saw in the Super Bowl trailer) straight blows up the fucking Toretto house. This clearly means war. Honestly, everything about this trailer is on point. What's most exciting to me, though, is that James Wan looks like he's been able to match the absurdly fun tone of recent F&F movies while bringing back some of the suspense elements of the early films.
Furious 7 also stars Paul WalkerMichelle RodriguezTyrese GibsonJordana Brewster, Ronda Rousey, Tony JaaLudacrisNathalie Emmanuel, Djimon HounsouLucas Black, and Elsa Pataky, and hits theaters on April 3, 2015.
