Universal Pictures has released the first Furious 7 trailer for director James Wan’s (The Conjuring) action sequel.  I really dig how it starts off with an extended action sequence and think that's a fantastic beat where Walker has to grab the rim of the car giving him an extra few feet of purchase on that clip.  Aside from that, the movie looks huge!  It definitely seems like more fun than the sixth installment and I'm hard pressed to think of an entry that looks as vibrantly colorful as this one (they seem to be leaning in to the humor as well).  It definitely looks like Wan successfully pulled off the transition from horror to action without missing a beat.  As a recent fan of these movies (my love for them got ignited with Fast 5), it's nice to have something unabashedly fun to look forward to.
