The plan was to premiere Furious 7 at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi on March 10th, but it’s being reported that Vin Diesel wants to scale it back a bit and hold the film’s debut in Los Angeles instead. Why? Because he’s expecting his third child and knows how to prioritize.
Abu Dhabi? Los Angeles? What’s the difference? The franchise has made a colossal $2.38 billion over the years with the most recent installment, Fast & Furious 6, scoring a whopping $788.7 million at the worldwide box office. On top of that, Furious 7 won’t even have any new wide release competition when it hits theaters on April 3rd. This movie’s bound to be huge.
