Sony pictures has released over 35 new images from David Ayer's Fury online.  The original story is set in 1945 as the Nazi regime is in collapse, and revolves around the five-man crew of an American tank called “Fury”.  Brad Pitt plays U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Wardaddy, who leads his unit in the fight against a desperate German army.  Ayer's End of Watch was surprisingly good, and I'm hoping that movie's quality storytelling carries over into Fury, which sounds like it could be a unique film in the World War II action genre.   Throw in a strong supporting cast, and this is one of the must-see movies of the fall.

Sony has released over 35 new Fury images, and you can check them out after the jump.  The film opens October 17th, and also stars Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena, Jon Bernthal, and Jason Isaacs.

Here's the official synopsis for Fury:

FURY is set at the very end of World War II, in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.
