Earlier today, FilmDrunk got an email telling them someone who works at Paramount leaked the G.I. Joe 2 script and it was called Twin Parallax and the draft was 126 pages.   The writer of the post (Vince Mancini) didn't think the script was real, and guessed it might be a ploy to get people to read a spec script. To try and get to the truth, I contacted screenwriter Rhett Reese shortly after the story broke and he told me:

Steve, it's a total hoax, this 'Twin Parallax' script.  I've seen the cover page.  It does have our names on it and a fake Paramount watermark.  I didn't read the script itself, but it's absolutely not ours, and thus is bogus.  The real first draft of GI Joe 2 is not yet finished and has not gone into the studio.

So there you have it.  Before you start trying to find it online...know it isn't real.
