The anticipated second season of Game of Thrones already has some cast members lined up, and now EW has word on yet another entering the mix of HBO's epic fantasy series. After supporting roles in films like Gulliver's Travels and The Wolfman, actress Gemma Whelan has now landed the role of Asha Greyjoy, the older sister of young Theon of the Stark family. However, in the series, her character name will be changed to Yara Greyjoy, likely to avoid confusion with the character Osha (the names sound very similiar). Of course, the character from the book will largely stay the same as Yara is said to defy Ironborn traditions of her family by commanding her own ship and leading men into battle, as well as having a penchant for axes. Sounds like quite a bad-ass maiden to spice up what promises to be a great second season.
