Today, HBO is releasing the Game of Thrones Season 4 DVD and Blu-Ray, which means there some new clips to check out. In two that have been released online, we see some deleted scenes that were probably the right choice to cut. Still, they do reveal a few small things about certain characters, particularly Bronn.

In the first clip, Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) dismisses Shae (Sibel Kekilli), who lashes out at Bronn (Jerome Flynn) after Tyrion tasks him with escorting her to her ship to Pentos. Unfazed, Bronn gives her some life advice about adapting to circumstances and learning some new tricks. (It also shows a softer side to Bronn). The CGI scene at the end is pretty detailed, too -- it's a shame they didn't use it.

In the second clip, Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) comforts a robotic Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) who is paranoid about betrayal after Jorah (Iain Glen) has been cast out. (But do I sense some romantic tension here between Missandei and Dany? Just me? Oh, ok).

As for the upcoming Season 5, check out some of the images for the new season, plus the trailer. Also check out the fact that according to George R. R. Martin, Season 5 will include deaths that will surprise book readers (and not in a good way).

Game of Thrones returns to HBO Sunday, April 12th.
