Cersei (Lena Headey), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), and Sansa (Sophie Turner) had some of the biggest moments from the Game of Thrones Season 5 finale, overshadowed only by Jon Snow (Kit Harington). With the Season 6 premiere fast approaching, our questions will be answered: How will the former Queen Regent react to the news of her daughter’s death? How will the the new Dothraki khlasar treat the wayward Mother of Dragons? What happened to the Stark child and Reek after they leapt from the castle roof? Watch three new clips from the premiere to find out.

We begin with Cersei. She has shorter hair from the penance she suffered from those religious zealots, but here she sits with her incestuous brother Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) by her side as she mourns the loss of Myrcella (Aimee Richardson), who fell victim to the Sand Snakes. Daenerys is similarly in mourning, though she lost her dignity and respect as she finds herself once again in Dothraki company. She looks up to find the two rearing horses that mark the Vaes Dothrak, the only city of the Dothraki. Sansa, meanwhile, is enjoying her newfound freedom. She clearly survived the fall from atop Winterfell, and now she’s on the run with what’s left of Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen). Will they make it across the icy water?

These clips come on the heels of a recent full-length trailer, which featured snippets of these ladies’ continuing journeys. Sophie Turner called Game of Thrones season 6 Sansa’s “best season yet.” She told EW, “It’s her really coming into her own. She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it’s really good.” As for the other two, we’ve seen Dany literally stripped, while Cersei is out for blood. “I choose violence,” she tells the Sparrows.

Game of Thrones Season 6 will debut on April 24th on HBO.
